ANDRÉ CANANÉA      PERFIL – Sasckya diz que é “clássica, engraçada, simples e inteligente” A edição de dezembro da Playboy americana traz um rosto bastante conhecido dos campinenses. Sasckya Porto, de 23 anos, é a “playmate” do mês, segundo ensaio mais importante da revista. Só fica atrás da garotada da capa (que, por sinal, é a atriz de TV Kimberly Kardashian). O pôster central da revista, aquele que se desdobra em quatro folhas, traz a modelo brasileira tal qual veio ao mundo. Apontada nos sites de moda como a sucessora de Gisele Bündchen, Sasckya tem feito sucesso nos Estados Unidos. Morando do lado de lá do Equador já há cinco anos, Sasckya nasceu mesmo em Timbaúba (PE), mas ainda criança mudou-se para Campina Grande, onde ficou até os 17 anos de idade. “Ela era sempre a personagem principal de uma dança brasileira chamada ‘Quadrilha’, da qual participou até os 14 anos”, assinala a biografia da modelo no seu site oficial. Ganhando um concurso de beleza atrás do outro, inclusive nos EUA, Sasckya acabou sendo contratada por uma agência de modelos americana e foi morar em Nova York, onde está até hoje. Fez trabalhos para a chiquérrima rede Saks Fifth Avenue e assinou com a Loreal para uma campanha internacional. Foi apontada como uma das mulheres mais desejadas da América e seu destaque na Playboy se deve a uma eleição entre os leitores americanos da revista. No site da publicação há um vídeo de pouco mais de um minuto onde ela – devidamente vestida – conta um pouco da sua vida e dos seus gostos. Sasckya diz que nasceu no Brasil (sem especificar o lugar), revela suas medidas, conta que nasceu no dia do Halloween (31 de outubro), que é modelo há 10 anos e fã de karaokê. “Minha música favorita é ‘Thank you’, da Dido”, entrega, em inglês. Diz que gosta de homens educados e que a fazem rir, aprecia vôlei e futebol e que se autodefine como “clássica, engraçada, simples e inteligente”.

Após as vendas de seu ensaio de nudez ficarem abaixo das expectativas da revista masculina “Playboy” Brasileira. enquanto que a “Playboy” Norte Americana bate recorde de vendas com a top model Brasileira Sasckya Porto.   A jornalista Mônica Veloso tenta voltar aos holofotes da mídia com o lançamento de um livro, que sai com atraso. Na próxima quarta-feira (28), a editora Novo Conceito lança “O Poder que Seduz” (192 págs, R$ 34,90). Em outubro, Mônica Veloso falava em lançar o livro até 15 de novembro, data da proclamação da República.

Para despertar atenção, a editora tenta criar suspense sobre o conteúdo do livro, citando que a publicação “revela os bastidores do poder e a trajetória da autora, desde sua chegada a Brasília até o relacionamento com Renan Calheiros, o assunto mais polêmico e comentado do ano”.

Dividido em sete capítulos, o livro também aborda a “chegada de Mônica ao Distrito Federal, as conversas de corredor no Congresso Nacional e de toda a sua trajetória, que começou com um convite para ser apresentadora do DF TV, jornal local da Rede Globo, onde ficou durante 10 anos”.

Um trecho do livro foi divulgado: “Óculos escuros, todos de preto, como se estivéssemos indo para um velório. A relação que havia começado entre os devaneios de um homem e uma mulher, numa noite embalada por sorrisos, brindes, perfumes e aquele ar de fraternidade que impregna as festas de fim de ano, terminava como um testamento, em meio a leis, cifras, sobrancelhas crispadas e olhos vermelhos.”

Capa da “Playboy” de outubro, Mônica Veloso fez estardalhaço de seu ensaio de nudez. A estratégia de divulgação incluiu participação em festas e programas populares de TV, além de entrevistas em que revelava até preferências sexuais –questionada sobre tamanho do pênis, ela respondeu uma vez: “O importante é saber usar. As mulheres são muito mais ligadas na sedução do que na proporção”.

A “Playboy” chegou a falar publicamente sobre suas expectativas com o ensaio: bater o recorde de vendas, o que não ocorreu, como esperavam 78% dos participantes .  Na história da revista. enquanto isso, nos USA a modelo Brasileira Sasckya Porto surpreende, e sua edicao, do mes de Dezembro 20o7, bate recorde de vendas, (sendo que as vendas dessa edicao, sao efetuadas no mes de Novembro). As campeãs Brasileiras foram as capas da Feiticeira (1º), Tiazinha.

SASCKYA IS FAVORITES SO FAR FOR PLAYMATE 2008

Which reminds me: The final Playmate to be unclothed this year is Sasckya Porto. “CHECK www.sasckya.com “ Now we have to sit and wonder who Hef will choose as his favorite for Playmate of the Year 2008. The Playmate of the Year, 2007, is Sara Jean Underwood, a Portland, Oregon native who first appeared in Playboy in October 2005 for a coeds special and on the cover of the same issue wearing nothing but paint. She was Playmate of the Month in July 2006.

My other favorites so far for Playmate of the Year 2008,  Sasckya: I think she will be PMOY 2008: (1)Miss February Heather Rene Smith. She’s a gymnast and displayed that talent in her portfolio! (2)Miss May Shannon James who was chosen Playmate on the Howard Stern program. Okay, I don’t listen to or watch Stern, but he made an excellent choice with Shannon! (3)Miss June Brittany Binger. She’s a surfer. Gotta consider the surfer! (4)Miss October Spencer Scott. She tried being a Playmate when she was 17. She’s 18 now! Gotta admire her moxy and she’s a devoteé of In-n-Out! But then I revisit Miss January’s portfolio, which would be Jayde Nicole. She has the word ”RESPECT” tattooed right above her lovely — and hairless — Mons Veneris. I couldn’t pick just one.

SASCKYA PORTO INTERVIEW

* Sasckya, how are you?Sasckya Porto: I’m great. Things are going well and I’ve been really busy. My Playboy issue will be out soon and I have been doing a lot of interviews and promotions.* How was it like growing up in Brazil? How would you portray the atmosphere there?Sasckya Porto: Brazil has a different feeling. People are more laid back and seem to be less stressed. Everyone loves the beach and everyone loves to dance samba. Soccer (football) is everywhere and people are always outside being active because of the wonderful weather. * What was your first impression of New York? Sasckya Porto: My first impression of New York was that if you can be successful here you can be successful all over the world.

* Who did you inherit your beauty from?Sasckya Porto: I was lucky to get the best features from both my parents. My mom is curvy and beautiful with delicate features, but not really tall. My dad is tall and slim with strong features. So I couldn’t make a better pick of the features and beauty they have.* Beauty, according to the Oxford English Dictionary, is “a combination of qualities, including grace of form and charm of coloring that delights the sight or other senses.” What’s your definition of beauty? Is it easier to recognize beauty than to define it?Sasckya Porto: My definition of beauty is “charm.” Some people might have nice features but no charm, which is boring. Some have charm but worse features, which is still sexy. Then there are a few to have both nice features and charm which is the most beautiful. It is easier to recognize it because charm is hard to define. * You are not afraid of competition. Time after time you won beauty pageants, and even named Miss Brazil USA in 2001! Were you always competitive and so successful in your endeavors? Sasckya Porto: Let me correct that I was Miss Brazil RI USA, and the year was 2002. In 2001 I was fifth place in Miss Brazil World. When I started I didn’t feel that competitive, I felt secure with my beauty and just enjoyed the different events. As a model now, I am extremely competitive as the stakes are higher. It’s not only about beauty in modeling, it takes something else to make it. * You maintain a very healthy look. How do you stay so slim and fit with all those delectable foods around? Sasckya Porto: You have to give up some things. I moderate what I eat but I make sure I feel healthy and satisfied. People should know that it is healthy to work out and I make sure I live that lifestyle. * Watching your great photos, it’s not hard to assume many companies want to sign you up for their campaigns. When a new modeling contract is offered, what guides you through your decision-making process? Sasckya Porto: I either look at the history of the client, or if they are rather new, I look at the quality of the product being sold. * How much of making a great photo depends on acting skills? Which emotion or look do you find easiest to express? Sasckya Porto: It takes a little acting sometimes, but mostly it takes modeling experience. I can express what the client wants but I tend to be sexy. * Please tell me about a unique experienece you’ve had from your modeling career. Sasckya Porto: I was shooting for a luxury magazine on a two day shoot. We were shooting with an extremely expensive car and other items in the background. Waiting for some of the items to arrive, the male model showed up drunk and started acting very inappropriate. I was able to finish the shoot like a professional but I had to spend most of the time defending advances. He was lucky I didn’t smack him. * How has modeling changed you and your attitude to other people? Sasckya Porto: I have always been accepting of other people, but New York makes you stronger. * What are the things that you can’t survive without? Sasckya Porto: I can’t survive without my phone these days. * What do you like to do in your free time? Sasckya Porto: I like to relax and watch movies, mostly comedies. * What are your plans for 2008? Sasckya Porto: I will invest time into acting, but I will be very busy with some current projects.
